DURING THE past century investigations have been made of native magic in Africa, India and other parts of the world. Spiritualistic phenomena have been certified as genuine and studied painstakingly by over a hundred recognized scientists. Religions have been surveyed and the instant or nearly instant miraculous healing at Lourdes verified. But from all these studies and efforts there has come nothing faintly resembling a definite basic system, philosophy, theory, or psycho-religious science which would explain, even in the most general terms, the phenomena of the various fields. In fact, investigations in these fields began to arrive at a stalemate several years ago. New discoveries have been conspicuously lacking. A much fuller and more detailed account of the long investigation is planned when the last stage-the experimental stage-has added its quota. (From Part 1) Get Your Copy Today… (más)

Max Freedom Long (1890-1971) was an indefatigable researcher and a brilliant writer. He had been a printer, photographer, mine assayer, school teacher, and had qualified in two professional areas. What he liked best was 'digging,' as he called his research into the lore of the anicent kahunas of Hawaii, he discovered the key to their carefully guarded secrets. Their psycho-religious concepts-a surprisingly modern and complete system of psychology-were coded into the roots of the Hawaiian language. He spent the next forty years digging into the Huna system and reported his findings in books and bulletins during that time. Introduction to Huna was the first publication on his researches published in the U. S. Shortly after it appeared in 1945, Max Freedom Long established Huna Research Associates, through which the Huna theories were put into practical use. Some of his other books are The Secret Science Behind Miracles, The Secret Science at Work, Growing Into Light, The Huna Code in Religions, and Psychometric Analysis. Contents Preface About this book Chapter One The investigation of huna and how it came about Chapter Two From fire walking to instant healing Chapter Three How the aid of the high self is obtained Chapter Four Experimentation and its problems more details of the huna system Chapter Five Huna and the several religions Chapter Six The experimental approach to huna Epilogue By Dr. E.
