Good, overall guide, but lacking on dining options: This is a great guide for those who haven't yet been to Quebec City. It gives general information on the top sites, hotels and dining in the area. I would have liked to see, however, more dining options and a larger section on traveling to Quebec City with kids. Also, there is a whole vacation rental business in the city, mostly apartments, that is a great way to travel and less expensive than hotels. The guide never even mentions this option.

Vocabulary was somewhat useful, but the phrases seemed more geared for the backpack traveler. Conversely, see my review for "Montreal & Quebec City 2008" by Fodor's. Otherwise, very informative about things to do. ( )
