Although the information in this book is informative, I wish it had been written a little differently. The author, assisted by Mrs. Brown's great-granddaughter Muffett Brown, goes to great lengths to make sure we know that she was NEVER called Molly during her lifetime. And yet, the title of the book? Two full chapters are dedicated to the Titanic story, but one is the first chapter, and the other is the last. Chronologically, it barely gets a mention. And an inordinate amount of space is used to tell us how the myth of Molly Brown was created by Gene Fowler and Caroline Bancroft, and yet these authors are quoted throughout the book. Margaret Brown was a very interesting woman, and she apparently led a very interesting life. I hope someday to find a better biography of her. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
