Rugby and Rosie is about a family raising a dog so that one day she could train and take test to become a guide dog. Rugby seemed to hate Rosie, but in the end he loved her so much. They were like the best of friends, but it all ended too soon when Rosie had to leave and fulfill her destiny as a guide dog. I would love to one day help raise a future guide dog for someone. To me that's like an ultimate dead done. To raise a dog as your own and then let it go for someone who needs the dog more than you. I'm a dog lover so that would be so sad for me. ( )

This a good book about friendship and animals. This is a story of a family who has a dog and one day the dad comes home with another dog and this dog is there to be trained to be a see and eye dog. So they only have her for a year. But at first the dog the family already have did not want to play with the new dog, but she did after a while and they became best friends. The it was time for the dog to leave, the dad came home with another one to train. This is a good to ask the class if they have pets and what kind are they. Have they ever done anything like this before or have they seen an see and eye dog before. ( )
