I think this book is a great resource for teaching homophones and gives students great visuals to look at while they are learning about homophones. ( ) Clever Aunt Ant has just moved to the zoo. Speaking in homophones, she describes the quirky animal behavior she sees. There's the MOOSE who loved MOUSSE and ATE EIGHT bowls, and the WHALE who was ALLOWED to WAIL ALOUD. This is a clever, concise introduction to the richness of language through the concept of homophones. This book would be a great introduction to homophones. Most of the sentences written in this story contain a set of them. They are even written in bold letters so you can identify them. It helps children learn new words from this book if they could at least identify one of the two. In the student's writing assignment, they would be finding and matching homophones. That is a good learning activity. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
