In this book, Arthur is in an argument with his best friend close to Valentines day. He decides that he wants nothing to do with Valentines day and his little sister tries to make him feel better by offering to have a snowball fight with him. He pretends not to care, but he is jealous when his sister gets valentines and is invited to go to a party. A friend tells Arthur that his best friend is bringing him an apology valentine. Arthur decides to make a huge valentine in the snow for a surprise when he shows up. The friends make up and everyone has a snowball fight and goes to a Valentines day party.
