The Morton family is on the run. On a witness protection scheme, they have nowhere to hide, no friends to share their secret, and no past they can speak of. They are forced to flee back to their father's native Australia, but escape isn't that easy with the villains never far behind.

This book is about a man that gets caught up in a major crime. The man and his family must hide from everyone, everything, including their identity. They have two children Nicola and Emma. The children have to change their names and move schools. They watch who they become friends with, what they say to people to try and make sure no one finds out who they really are. They had to move a lot because Emma kept making silly mistakes.

Eventually they flee in order to save their dad. After Nicola gets kidnapped, they get a lot more worried that someone is watching them all the time. It is a classic tale of life on the run.

I would definitely rate this book a nine out of ten. It had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what would happen next. It was simple to read so I finished it quite quickly. The characters were great in the book and provided lots of suspense. Also the book had me hooked on what I thought was an extremely good example of life on the run.
