The illustrations are modern and very expressive. By using the context clues, students can easily read and comprehend the plot. In this story, Mr. Putter ate too many jelly rolls and cannot fall asleep because of a stomach ache! Students will be able to relate to this enjoyable story about friendship and memories. The big idea of this story is about neighbors and friendship. ( )
