"The lighthouse keeper lived a lonely, isolated life and sometimes it would become quite adventurous, if not frightening. It was the storm that kept the keepers on the edge of their seats, and all lighthouses were erected where the waters are most treacherous." No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

Have visited many of the lighthouses around our area in the northeast and there are so many more we've yet to visit.
Hope to find out more about the ones no longer functioning in our area and down the coast.
So much information about the lighthouses and how they operated in their days.
What I love about this book is all the things I've learned from even our local lighthouse. Especially excited to read of vikings who built some of them and also of the ones in Nova Scotia as we watch Oak Island and there's treasures there.
Loved hearing of PI light and how the hurricane killed the whole family but
the keeper himself.
I received this book from National Library Service for my BARD (Braille Audio Reading Device). ( )
