It was a poem about the Brontosaurus. It decribed what a Brontosaurus eats; how it lives as well as how it defends itself. The other poem I read was "From Whatever Happened to the Dinos?" by Bernard Most. It was very simple. It asks whatever happened to several dinos and then lists about 22 different dinosaurs. I love dinosaurs! I think they are interesting! These poems would be a great introduction into a science lesson on fossils. Afterwards the students could have their own archeological dig for fossils. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

This is a collection of poems by different writers that are brought together to bring the events of the past to life for children. It introduces children to the different animals that are long gone with great illustrations of the landscape and animals of the past.
Personal Reaction:
I love dinosaurs and found this book to be a great introduction to those children that love to bring their imagination to life.
Classroom Extension:
I would bring in toy Dinosaurs to give the children a 3D example of the animals. ( )
