Let's make one thing clear: Dressing dogs up as people is just creepy.

But this Wegman book got to me. See, it's about a dog named Chip. Chip is a Weimaraner dressed up as a boy. A boy who wants a dog. But Chip's parents won't let him get one (his mom, a blonde be-wigged "cat person", even sports tacky cat-lover fashions). Oh, and he has a stuffed dog toy that's a Weimaraner.

But see, then one night the dog, who's dressed as a person, has a dream that he's a dog. And when he wakes up, he realizes, "I don't need a dog, I am a dog."

So. What do you think? Am I a person reading about a Weimaraner, or a Weimaraner reading about a person? ( )
