Halverson (read 4 Aug 1984) This is a book one of my sons used in college and I came across it and read it cover to cover--something which he may well not have done (I know none of my textbooks did I consciously read cover to cover--which is why they are not on my list of books read). I found reading this book well worth while. It is philosophy presented in alternating chapters, each taking a particular view of a particular philosophical issue. I have never studied philosophy quite that way--it results in quite an objective study. The book is really helpful as a kind of outline for one who would read more on the matters gong to make up the subject matter of this book. Twelve different issues are considered, setting up an outline of the various issues of each. Each of the parts has a "For Further Reading" list, and if I had access to a decent library it'd be great to really do serious reading on these issues. So, I have found this basic college text a really well worthwhile read! ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
