His younger brother Kyle cuts band stuff for racing. At the beginning Kyle was only going to “keep the seat warm”. After a few races Kyle started to enjoy racing again and at the end he decided to quit band and keep racing. The cover is of the cockpit of a stockcar. it is very appealing to a person that enjoys racing. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys racing, action, and a fast read. ( ) 17 year old Kyle comes from a 4th generation NASCAR racing family. Two years ago, Kyle gave up racing to concentrate on music. He is a talented trumpet player and he loves to play. When his older brother, Kris is injured in a race, Kyle's family asks him to "keep his brother's seat warm". Kyle drives in the race, finishing toward the top even though he is a rookie. Kyle is surprised to find that likes the thrill of the race and all the attention he receives. Now he has a decision to make, does he continue with his music or give it up to become a professional racer? sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
When seventeen-year-old Kyle reluctantly succumbs to family pressure and replaces his injured brother in the family racecar, he struggles to keep up with his trumpet playing while deciding how--or if--he can continue making music with a brass quintet and headlines as a Nascar racer.
