This book tells the story of all the wild and crazy things that can happen at a train station, particularly Grand Central Station Summary: The author hung around Grand Central and watched people, imagined every of them passing by her. She imagined their jobs, their names and their habits. Since the Grand Central is so big that there are so many different people in this places and there are lots of interesting things happen everyday. There is not a story book but a book with full of describetions of differents people. Genre: This book is a contemporary realistic fiction book. The characters in this book are real people but in nowadays life buy the information about different people the author gives us are based on her own observation and imagination. Critiques: 1.This is an interesting book with so many fun fiction informations and images. Although it not a story bool with plots, the fragments in the book are full of imagination. 2. The medium of the book is paint. Images are all in bright color which makes readers feel delight. Comments on use: 1. Since there is no plot in this book and very page students can choose any parts as the beginning to read. It will be not such suitable for teachers to read aloud to the whole class but good for teachers to ask students read aloud by themselves. 2. The book is full of nice vocabulary with vivid images.
