U-903 sub sank off the carribean in WWI and later gains enough bouancy, from a research team blasting the ocean to record topography, to float and crash into natives boats causing them to sink, who only sees a very large dark mass and thinks its an Eater, eating their boats! The Company gets involved and investigates the Eater situation and the main guy Mako Hooker figures it all out! the bad guy gets eating by a mako shark...who the native billy thinks is the brother of hooker because they share the same front name! Something is attacking fishing boats and a retired government agent gets involved. I didn't guess who done it to the boats; but I also don't have enough technical and scientific knowledge to guess. ( )
