Autobiographical account of Malcolm Muggeridge's slightly chaotic career, from roughly the time he came back from a (brief) tenure as a correspondent in Moscow, ca. 1932, to the end of World War II, encompassing a number of stints at different papers, but most importantly, a longish and somewhat picaresque turn as an intelligence officer during World War II. An account of walking in Paris, drunk, with Kim Philby (the traitor) is not to be missed. A great deal of name-dropping, but the dropping of names often comes with anecdotes attached. How accurate they are, is anyone's guess, but the story-telling is engaging. Recommended. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
