As one of Europe's oldest preserved royal palaces, the Royal Palace of Seville was built between 844 and 1350. While commissioned by a Christian king, the palace was designed and constructed by Moorish workers and is the finest example of Mudejar architecture in Spain. After a brief historical survey, the author leads a tour of the palace, concluding in the Alcazar garden. The entertaining text and lush color photographs capture the exoticism of the architecture and decoration in Spain during this period. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
