The bad guy, Qin, is a demon that possesses bodies. He also wants to take over the world with a dragon and a whole lotta terracotta warriors in Sunnydale, LA, and a few other places.
At least, that's part of the plot. That was one of the problems with the novel. It was 456 pages long and yet even as long as it was, it was still totally and utterly overfilled with info and action (not to mention not enough Willow, though there was a Tara mention which is always fun).
It wasn't a bad novel, it was just too many plot lines and it was just in general too much. But, the reason that I read it was for the character of Jheira, a character from the first season of Angel and her character was interestingly portrayed in the book. A solid three star book, just not the best media tie in I've ever read. ( )
