Kevin and his sister, Millicent, notice that there parents fight alot. They fight over the silliest things. Kevin and Millicent try to think about other things. They drown out the sounds of fighting by singing. They also try to start thinking about the times Mama and Papa liked each other and loved each other. Kids could use those reminders every now and then. This book was best suited on reminding parents of young children the pain flare-ups cause when parents argue excessively and for too long. It can leave children feeling insecure and fearful. When parents fight, they forget that children are vulnerable and are feeling in the middle between parent arguments. ( )
