Uniformity with God's Will is a short book/pamphlet about living according to God's will and the benefits that come from it. In short, those who give up themselves to God and say "Thy will be done" receive many benefits that those stressing and attempting to control their lives do not. God does everything for a reason, and He won't give you anything you cannot handle. The chapter titles give an overview of St. Alphonsus' point: "Excellence of This Virtue", "Uniformity of in All Things", "Happiness Deriving from Perfect Uniformity", and "God Wills Our Good". The final chapter concerns dealing with spiritual desolation and feelings of abandonment. Highly recommended for any Catholics interesting in achieving spiritual perfection by way of uniting their will with God's, this is an excellent short introduction to the concept. It can be found very cheaply through TAN Books or for free on the internet. Either way it's definitely worth picking up. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

In this precious booklet, St. Alphonsus Ligouri explains the importance of conforming one's will to God's and how to do so; how to gain peace of mind and serenity by trusting in God, accepting what He wills for our lives and following His commands. St. Alphonsus urges us to desire to completely surrender our will to God. He wants us to give not only our gifts but also our own will. When we do this, we know that whatever befalls us is from God and is for the good of our souls.
A great book for those who are trying to grow in their spiritual life, or for those who are dealing with sorrow or loss in their lives. ( )
