Booth DeWitt had written his greatest script. From the pain of a bitter marriage came a bitingly brilliant story. Ariel Kirkwood, who plays Amanda Jamison on a popular soap opera, knew she wanted to play the scheming wife--a complete change from her sweet daytime heroine. Booth DeWitt has written a screenplay that's pretty much his ex-wife, their relationship and how it ended. Ariel Kirkwood is a soap opera star who jumps at the opportunity to play the role of his wife. When Booth starts having feelings about Ariel he dismisses it as how much she resembles his ex-wife but he can't get her out of his mind. Ariel wants fun and she finds herself attracted to Booth, but if he can't let the past go she is determined to make the most of the situation and make a great movie.
LIght-hearted and fun read. Booth smokes an awful lot. ( )
