This novel is written about a primary age girl who feels all her skills and talents in life come from the lucky bracelet her father gave her. When she loses the bracelet she needs to discover where her abilities truly lie. This book is written for 4-5th grade reading levels. I would use this book for a class chapter book or recommend it to a sports loving or superspicious female student for independent reading. Issues addresses are faith, luck, sports and perseverance. Personal Response: I thought this was a wonderful book with a powerful message. The parents in the book were good role models and the kids had a good relationship with each other (maybe a fantasy?)/ Library/Classroom uses: This would be good for classroom teachers wanting their students to read sports stories. It would also be good for those wanting to talk about values such as determination. In a public library this might be a good book to incorporate with a sports star's visit, etc. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
