Review: I think this is a great multicultural and informational book that would be a great reference if doing a project on Germany or culture. It has good information, but uses vocabulary and sentence structure that would make sense to children. For example, "Germany was one land divided into two nations. After Germany was defeated in World War II, the nations who won the war could not agree on how to run Germany. But they wanted to make sure that Germany wouldn't become strong enough to go to war again." This is a great example of how the author mastered getting important information to the reader in an appropriate way.
