This is a good example of a fairy tale because it is a story of magical animals who an sing, dance, and go to the city to start a new life when they get too old to be where they are at.
Plot: The donkey, dog, cat, and rooster all got too old for their jobs on the farm and their masters were going to kill them and so they decided it was time to leave and start something new with their life, so with that being said they set off for the city. The animals took over a house that was being robbed by robbers and set it up as their own home.
