Transformation Series #2
Powerful, persuasive, perfection in this second book of the series – definitely read SILENTLY first to fully appreciate Quinn & Jonathan’s journey.
What I liked:
* Quinn: widow, grieving, seeking, intrigued by BDSM, verbalizes honestly, protects her heart, a bit lost, giving, caring, intriguing, a bit more taken with Jonathan than she is willing to admit
* Jonathan: TV travel personality, divorced, is not as assertive as he might need to be, says luck is why he succeeds, may need to step out of his comfort zone, definitely taken with Quinn
* The maturity of the lead characters
* The growth in the relationship that takes place in this book
* The look at the Kink/BDSM scene in a mature responsible way
* The mime in Paris
* That I am invested in the story, characters, and outcome of the series
* That it reminded me, for some unknown reason, of a much tamer series recommended by my father before I headed off to college – about a woman looking for her future in marriage, love, and family…no idea why CLAUDIA came to mind as they are very dissimilar stories
* All of it really except…
What I didn’t like:
* The people controlling and in charge of Jonathan’s show
Did I enjoy this book? Yes
Would I read more in this series? Definitely
Thank you to the BookSirens and the author for the ARC – This is my honest review.
