I liked George and Martha as a free reading book. There are five different short stories in this book and each story has a different main idea. I like the fact that there are multiple stories in the book which gives children the ability to choose which story they want to read. I also like that the stories are short and do not have too many words on one page. This makes it easier for younger readers to follow along. Finally, I believe the main idea of all the stories is the friendship between George and Martha and to show children how to treat their friends. ( )
