Sinner is about an author researching material for her next book, during her investigation she and her team follow the trail of a symbol that traces back to before the civil war. The sinner is an interesting character who dreams of crimes before they happen and tries to stop them. The book has some good action scenes, with some surprize's at the end. The story is broken up randomly by journal entries that I hated at first but all began to make sense in the second half of the book. Other then some dialog between the characters sometimes that did not seem natural the story is pretty good and has some religious tie-in's for people who are interested. An attack at St. Anthony's Cathedral leaves behind a symbol of the mythological Sinner--a vigilante legend since the days of the Civil War--and sparks the curiosity of investigative writer CK Ivors. CK begins a relentless pursuit of the legend, only to discover that myth is often based on truth--and is sometimes more dangerous than it ought to be. As she edges closer to peril, she also fins an intriguing diary that may shed more light on the mystery surrounding the Sinner. Entries in the journal are fragmented and dreamlike, but also indicate there's more to the situation than meets the eye. Throw in a millionaire, a mystery cottage, and a few comic-book collectibles, and you've got the heart-pounding adventure that is Sinner. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
