This is a book that anyone who has ever worked in retail can appreciate and who have had to deal with people who were odd and disagreeable. The narrator reminded me a bit of Holden Caulfield in The Catcher in the Rye. ( )

I enjoyed reading The Legend of Dave Bradley very much. I could easily relate to the work family references and the interesting people and situations you encounter in retail. i don't think you need a background in retail to find this book engaging. The author has such a great sense of humor and timing., I especially liked the way these stories are laid out. The pacing made it such a fun and upbeat read. I think Dave Bradley would make great material for stand-up comedy or as the other reviewer mentioned a sitcom. ( )

I was entertained by how the author described the daily life and hierarchy in a local grocery store. I could hear the rain in the produce department and could see the slow motion squishing of the bread. Even though I have never worked in a grocery store, I could relate to the stories being told and laughed at the truth behind the irony of the events. Could easily be turned into a sitcom. ( )
