I enjoyed this book as it demonstrates to children different ways to join in and play with other people. It teaches children to ask different friends to play as well as taking turns. I as well enjoyed how it teaches children that some peers might say no, so instead look for other friends to play with. This book is great for children ages 2-4 years old. ( )

This is a good book to introduce ways to ask if you can play with someone. The book covers both the child getting to play and having to wait to play. There are also some teaching strategies in the back of the book to help with this concept.

Being a part of a group means sharing. Join in a group means waiting for a turn. Participating in a group means being fair and responsible.
