Wow. Just wow! I didn't know anything about the omegaverse before picking up this book. Let's just say I was intrigued by the premise of the world. I found myself quickly drawn to the characters and wanting to know more. I will definitely be picking up more books by this author. 5 out of 5 stars! ( )

Ok, this one is completely on me. When reading the blurb I didn't pick up on the fact that this was a reverse harem book. I just thought, "oh cool, cute romance!" and requested it. I'm not really that into harem books so I personally didn't enjoy it all that much (which is why I say, my bad, since I didn't look at the tags close enough before requesting). But I think that those who are into reverse harem would really enjoy this one. Knotty pines is a great setting and almost all of the characters are flushed out and interesting. It just didn't hit with me. ( )

An amazing debut book that I could not put down. I love that this was a slow burn why choose romance. It is also spicy and left me impressed by how well written this story was for a debut. I enjoyed reading this book and will love to read more by this aurthor.

This rather lengthy story was about a female about to come into her first heat (breed unknown) and the pressure of her very haughty socialite parents for her to mate with an single Alpha of equally high standing and prestige. Sadie is an Omega and, as such, is probably destined to move from the domination of her parents to that of another male or Alpha of a pack. Her aunt, previously unknown to her, sends her a birthday greeting and encourages her to explore becoming an Omega or female component of an all-male pack. This type of pack has only one Omega to have relations with while the other Betas (lesser stature than Alphas) and sort of sub-Alphas also have relations with each other and her. While this did introduce an alternative way of pack relations, that’s about all this entire story was about. There was no shifting or otherwise animal behavior contained except for some growling and just otherwise basically human activity. The characters were made to be quite human in their professional business roles and daily lives and no other adventures or sub-plots were introduced. ( )
