Grandma is selling her house and invites her four granddaughters to select a keepsake (treasure) from her attic. From that premise, four writers tell love stories with a common theme: our past often holds the key to our future. I enjoyed the twists and turns in each story. I could not help but wish my own grandmother had allowed me to reclaim some of my most precious memory items when she decided to sell her home. None of them were valuable monetarily and I think many were simply discarded. She had recently become a widow, buried her husband beside his late wife, and seemed to just want to escape the memories. Even my mother was not aware she was selling out until the deed was done and she had moved! ( )
