A we-both-read book that would be of interest to many young students. Text is well written.

My criticism for this book is the quality of the pictures. There are many blurry images/drawings. The illustrations are not too fantastic, either. ( )

Summary: This book is all about dinosaurs large and small. From everything they eat, to everything they do. It states how big they were, how many there were, and it talks about which ones were fast and which ones were slow.

Person Reaction: I really like this book because it has a parent or teachers page and a child's page so it encourages them to read with their parents. It also has a helpful glossary in the back of the book. The pictures are very well drawn and descriptive as well.

Classroom extension ideas:
1. In the classroom, we could make dinosaur masks of our favorite dinosaur.
2. In the classroom, we could also research our favorite dinosaurs.

The pictures were definitely for younger children. The dinosaurs were brightly colored and more on the cartoon side than realistic. I think it's perfect for it's age group. I liked the book and think younger kids will too.
