This is a fractured fairy tale. In it, Rumpelstiltskin marries the miller's daughter instead of helping her marry the king. They have a daughter who is captured by the greedy king. She uses her smarts to help the poor kingdom and change the king's outlook. It is a fun story, with great illustrations.

A very cute fractured fairytail. This is the story of Hope, the daughter of Rumpelstiltskin. She was locked in a tower to spin gold for the mean and greedy King. Instead of calling on her fathers help Hope knew she could out smart the King. Hope tricked the King into feeding and clothing his kingdom. He went from being hated to beloved. The King wanted to marry Hope, but she insisted on being his prime minister. I love how this story ended with the girl becoming a politician instead of a queen. My children also enjoyed this version of the story. ( )

A humorous fairy tale about the infamous Rumpelstiltskin and his daughter, Hope. Hope is as cunning as her father is and ends up being the hero of the story. I loved the ending and did not see it coming! ( )

This story is about Rumpelstilskin's daughter, Hope. She uses her "magic" for the King to create a better kingdom for the village people. For example, instead of spinning gold, Hope convinces the King she can create a different kind of gold, and does so by planting wheat, which in turn helps feed the kingdom.
Great story of "Hope" and kindness.
Classroom:
Could be used as a story writing assignment, have the students create a story where their character is good and "tricks" people in a helpful way like Hope did.
