Personal reaction- I enjoyed reading this little book. It wasn't a dull, boring book. It had lots of colors. The wording of the book was fun and the illustrations were adorable.

Summary
This story is about a hare who is always making fun of a tortoise because he is so slow. One day, the tortoise challenges the hare to a race. The hare thinks that the race is going to be easy. During the race, the hare is ahead of the tortoise so he decides to take a nap by a tree. The hare wakes up a little while later only to realize that the tortoise is ahead of him and almost to the finish line. The tortoise crosses the finish line and wins the race.

This book made me realize that it is better to do things slow and right, rather than fast and messing things up.
