An African-American family is experiencing a pretty bad hurricane which totally destroyed their house. The story seems to take place on a lonely island with palm trees and lots of nature. Although they tried to prepare for this heavy thunderstorm, their house was blown away. Though, when the second part of the hurricane arrived, they could just tie themselves to palm trees in order to be not blown away. Very dramatic and unrealistic depiction of a hurricane.... ( ) I really like the book about the hurricane in a country we don't know, but with beaches and coconuts definitely. It explains how people have to prepare for the hurricane and never give up to restore their houses afterwards. They seem as if it were normal for them to be just glad that they have survived and continue their life, while rebuilding their house. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
