I appreciate the humor and nostalgia in this book. Having grown up in the late 80's and 90's, I can appreciate some of the imagery used. There are some parts in which I find the descriptive details to be a bit distracting, and the cadence of the writing style is not particularly fluid (leading the reader to experience an almost start-stop rhythm to the story). It is inspiring, though, that the author could use something as uncertain, painful, and frightening as a hospitalization accompanied by a rare diagnosis to fuel his writing.

I tried multiple times to read this book. I just couldn’t get into it. ( )

As a disabled reviewer, I greatly appreciated the chance to read about Nazzareno's journey. I look forward to seeing what else they put out into the world.

This book is generally not the type I would read but I did thoroughly enjoy reading this book. His frankness and humor tell a very what could be relatable story. ( )
