( ) Oh, boy! What a great little book! Five years of high school and college math crammed into 58 pages! Why did I spend all that time taking the classes when this was around? Of course, if I hadn't taken those courses, I wouldn't know what the author has summarized. I also wouldn't have the slightest idea of how to deal with this information. Nevertheless ... Actually, I bought this book because there have been times in the last few years when I really needed to calculate one of those mystical figures. Trying to figure out how to construct a "hip roof?" You need to have an equilateral triangle at each short end. And how do you figure out the size of it if you only know the shape it will cover? Do you want to know whether or not your home's electrical system will explode if you plug in that lamp? It helps to know how to convert volts into amps. Wooden Books just keeps coming up with lovely, amusing titles. They may even be able to keep up with my ever-expanding desire to know everything there is to know about the universe. And the nicest thing about their books is the fact that I can find room for them, even on my overloaded bookcases. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
