Ethan Reckless takes a missing person case and finds himself entangled in a quest for revenge. Another solid entry for the series, but a time jump combined with a looming death that has previously been revealed makes it more a depressing reflection than a thrilling adventure. And the ending scene is such a disproportionate response, it reminds me of the 1980's Punisher shooting jaywalkers in Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #82. Or maybe Judge Dredd, "I am the law!" sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The fifth book in the bestselling RECKLESS series is here! Crime noir masters ED BRUBAKER & SEAN PHILLIPS present yet another original graphic novel starring troublemaker-for-hire Ethan Reckless. In the wake of the 1989 earthquake, Ethan takes a trip to San Francisco to search for a missing woman. But almost immediately, he finds himself going down a path of darkness and murder in a case unlike anything he's faced before. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

I like the way that color is used in this comic: It feels noir and the pastels of California don't actually take away from that, but rather, add a melancholic touch. Nothing gets over-explained and the plot runs on "vibes". If you're still onboard with that then prepare yourself for a well done version of that. ( )
