Overall, a good book for any new manager to read. The title is a little misleading - the information in the book is valid for new female and male managers. I especially appreciated the information in Chapter 16. I recommend this for any new manager. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Perfect for me as I am just starting out in my career. This book will probably not be as helpful for older businesswomen, but it's just right for college students and people just starting out. Each chapter is short and sweet and provides new insights and applications. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author through LibraryThing. All thoughts and opinions expressed are completely my own, and I was not required to write a positive review. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. The information in this book would be useful for someone as they begin wanting to transition into the management. I found a lot of cross over in this book from things I learned in a recent leadership class and it was nice to get the reinforcement.
My complaint with this book is the title makes you believe this book will focus on leadership and being a woman. There was nothing in this book that was specific to being female and I found that disappointing. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Shared with both of my young ladies. I believe that they will find it useful
A useful book for those starting in leadership roles, but I found it rather egotistical and self-centred. This may be necessary for one wanting to rise in the corporate world, but I think it may be a bit harsh for others.
The new female manager's encyclopedia, how to lead like a pro and spin teamwork into value, even with little experience
Congratulations! You're now a manager!
These words are music to my ears, but they can send a chill down the spine of new millennial managers.
How will you get everyone to respect and trust your decisions?
Is it possible to lead a team with much older and more experienced peers than you are?
And if you've been newly appointed to a managerial position with a few years of experience under your belt... you may struggle to get used to your peers calling you "boss."
You may also feel like you lack enough experience to manage the organization and the employees while meeting expectations.
However, it would help if you weren't afraid to embrace leadership roles.
You earned every right to excel, and your boss must have noticed something exceptional in you, so don't downplay yourself.
You are not inadequate.

"Leadership for the New Female Manager" by Karina G. Sanchez is a timely and empowering guidebook for women stepping into leadership roles in today's evolving workplace. Sanchez draws from her extensive experience as a leadership coach and mentor to provide practical advice and actionable strategies tailored specifically to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by female managers.
One of the book's standout features is its emphasis on authenticity and self-awareness. Sanchez encourages readers to embrace their strengths, acknowledge their areas for growth, and cultivate a leadership style that is true to themselves. By promoting a holistic approach to leadership development, Sanchez empowers women to lead with confidence and integrity.
Another strength of "Leadership for the New Female Manager" is its focus on building supportive networks and fostering collaboration.
