When I saw the title of the book, my first thought was “Ooh, his name is Lucifer! This is going to be fun and delicious.” And that thought was right. Lucifer is our male MC, ex-military (instant Yum right there), and works with the Walker Security team (also a Hoo Lawdy! moment). Lucifer is joined by a woman from his past, Ana. There are things that happened in the past which are included as memories for both Lucifer and Ana throughout the story. Because of the past he and Ana are now trying to figure out who, and why, they are being chased. But, even with past hurts tearing them apart, they still love each other. This makes the romantic scenes more poignant. The action satisfied my adventurous side, and the broken-but-still-heated romance was heart wrenching, and heart pounding. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

His mother called him Lucas. His brothers in the military and Walker Security call him Lucifer for his wild side. She called him the man she loved, she called him Luke. But then he proved he really is worthy of his nickname. Or so she thought. Nothing is as it seemed back then. A man with a past. The only woman he has ever loved. Someone wants her dead. That someone is about to find out that yes, he is Lucifer when you dare to threaten his woman. Even if she doesn't call herself that now. He does. But all he ever really wanted to be was Luke?the man worthy of her love. Book one in the Walker Security: Luke (Lucifer) Trilogy. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

It will be interesting to see what other revelations will appear about Ana's brother in the next book.
This is the first book in the trilogy but enough of the story is resolved in this first one that you don't feel like it's ending abruptly with a cliffhanger. I really can't wait to read the next book in the series.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy provided by the publisher. ( )
