This is the type of books that is right up my alley! I have always loved the strange and unusual stories that come out of the different wars and major events in history and this book definitely delivers! You always hear about the heroism and other like events in war, but rarely the odd and unusual things that occur. If this intrigues you, then this book is for you!! ( )Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. This is a review of a free copy. The title doesn't have anything to do with the content, nor weird nor untold stories. Just general knowledge for people who want to have a basic and short summary of both world wars. I was waiting for some unknown trivia. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. Great Titlle, but the book fails to deliver. None of the stories are "Weird True Stories." the book is a collection of brief discussions about various events and people.--All at a middle school depth.I received this book via the LibraryThing earlier reviewer program. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. It is true that there are stories about WWI and WWII in this book. However, none of them are weird, even a little bit. They are more like thumbnail sketches of major battles and the people involved. The trivia questions at the end of each war's section are overwhelmingly made up of information already covered in the book, so it was very repetitive. Overall, it was disappointing. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. The only weird and trivial thing in this work is the use of the word in the title. Simply a collection of stories. Disappointing. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
