This is the type of children's book that appeals to adults but not to kids. It has a good message, for sure, and the pictures are adorable but there's too much text for it's intended audience to really get into it. When you read it, it feels looooong. ( )

Uniquely You, written by Joyce Meyers and Illustrated by Marcin Piwowski, is a 32 page hard cover story written for children ages 4 to 7. This is a nice story to help teach children that God made everyone different, with different talents and gifts. This story helps the young child to understand no one is perfect, everyone makes mistakes and even does wrong but God still loves us. I especially like the part of the book that teaches children how to pick their true friends. This is perfect for the young child just starting school.

The pictures in this book are colorful and have a lot of detail. They are great to help engage the little listener in the story by having them pick out the bug and animals within the pictures.

Joyce Meyer is a fantastic lady, she spells it all out for little kids to understand why they are made the way they are and helps them to be able to accept all of the ways that they are different. Especially helpful if your child is a little different from other children.
