Ruby, the littlest duckling follows her siblings on an adventure, but when a storm comes, it is Ruby - the littlest and slowest duckling - that leads the rest to safety! ( ) I think grades k-2 would enjoy this book. It is fun and colorful but an easy read for anyone in 3 grade or up. This book should be read as a read along or read aloud for younger kids such as K because some words are very descriptive but can be difficult in understanding. This is also awesome for a read aloud because there are many counting number through out the story, so the instructor can ask follow up questions. I really enjoyed this story, "This Way, Ruby!" The big message explained that even if a child is behind, they may be very intelligent. Ruby, the smallest duckling, was always behind his siblings. Little did they realize, he knew his way better than they did. The illustrations were a great fit to the story being I was very amazed by them. The words used were also very descriptive and flowed with the story. "She saw a small waterfall that sparkled in the sun, and a great golden fish that glimmered in the depths." This quote is just a small example of how descriptive the story was which made the reading very catchy. The characters were explained using specific detail which guided myself as the reader to understand each scenario. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
