Anna is an eleven year old New Yorker whose best friend Rosalind moved to Portland, Maine a few months ago. Anna is overjoyed when she receives an invitation from Roz to come for a weeklong visit.

Shortly after Anna arrives at Rosalind’s house, she realizes she has retrieved the wrong suitcase at the airport. Amongst all of the plus-sized mens’ suits, the girls find an ominous note threatening to do away with someone. Anna and Roz embark on a series of misadventures in an attempt to identify the culprit and rescue the unknown victim.

A Visit with Rosalind is a charming little ‘mystery’ story for children that both youngsters and adults will find entertaining. The delightful illustrations are an added bonus. ( )
