It's very sexist—within the first few pages we get the male-gaziest description of a lady with a shag haircut wearing only a thong bikini bottom that I have ever had the displeasure of reading—and while I can forgive people glorying in hot ladies, the other one of Kirk's love interests is a caricature of a shrewish leftist woman. It also has a strong pro-anarchist viewpoint...but also pro-Federation and pro-militarist...so ultimately it just reads as conservative. I guess if you vibe with that you might like it. If not, stay far away. A so-so Star Trek novel, another one about the Enterprise contending against the Klingons for influence over a war-torn planet. The hook here is that the planet is a water world, with underwater cities. The only other item of interest is that the author is Vic Milan, the erstwhile masquerade contest Master of Ceremonies at Archon every year. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
