I've been looking for inspiration lately and thought winning a copy of He Spoke might be just the thing I was looking for.

I received the book and read it in one sitting. It is really a guided journal more than a book; one I really had no interest in filling out.

I read the author's entries, her various points of saving by God and I was not inspired. I actually found the reading experience a negative one. The writer found herself in situations - repeatedly - that led me to believe she didn't learn from God's teachings, she just waited for Him to rescue her again and again. Perhaps these were not duplicate scenarios and she just used them multiple times, I'm not sure. But it was definitely not a healthy read for me.

Perhaps others will not feel as I did and will find true positive motivation to use this book to help themselves. I hope so. ( )

Very good, enjoyable read. I was able to relate to some of the stories being told and reflect on all of them at the end of each story. There is an area to write on at the end of each section with questions to answer if you choose to. ( )

I won a copy of this book on Library Thing. It was so wonderful and I was blessed to win a copy. Diana's writing is beautiful and biblical and so heartfelt. ( )

With "reflections" after each chapter to chart your journey with God, also included prayer and scripture. A heart felt spiritual read. ( )

This book surprised me when I first opened it I flipped through a lot of a blank pages and I have never had a book like that before. I did end up writing in it and answering all of the questions. The story about the Jeep in the beginning stuck with me the most as I got into a lot of similar situations when I was younger and also remembering that inner voice telling me not to do certain things. I definitely enjoyed this book, journal of sorts, and it gave me a-lot to think about. Thinking about getting a copy for my dad as well. ( )
