The premise for this arc is a great one: Kate is feeling ready to say goodbye to the West Coast and head back to New York, but is dragging her feet because she doesn't necessarily want to return to the person she was in NY. So she decides to take the long way home and RSVP to a mysterious invitation she's been sent and check out some strange going-on's a resort that seems to cater to the rich...including a member of her own family.
Kate's voice and appearance do seem a bit off- a little too cartoonish and like the writer is trying too hard to make her "hip" or something. On the plus side, I'm super happy to see America and Cassie chatting with Kate and them all being friends. The pacing is solid, and already the story promises some classic Bishop intrigue and chaos- I'm eager to see where this goes! ( )

Good first issue. I like Kate Bishop, can't wait to see what happens next! ( )
