Clearly a very important book dealing with popularization of important science discoveries of the 20th century. ( ) Imaginary conversations between three physicists: Haller, Einstein and Newton. Through the conversation and the questions asked and the answers given, the theories of relativity and gravity and time and space are explained in less opaque terms than you would hear in a science class. still a bit too heavy for me although somewhat enlightening. For someone who is actually into this stuff, I imagine it would be a very good read. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
The physicist Harald Fritzsch explains the meaning and implications of the general theory of relativity and other mysteries of modern physics by presenting an imaginary conversation among Newton, Einstein and a fictitious contemporary particle physicist called Adrian Haller. In this account of relativity, Newton serves as the sceptic and asks the questions a modern reader might ask. Einstein himself does the explaining while Haller explains the new developments that have occured since the general theory was proposed. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
