Louise Berbardine VIBOREL, born end September 1925
paternal g-g-grandfather, Joseph Viborel, grenadier with Imperial Old Guard of Napoleon Bonaparte, in Russia with the Grand Army, June-December 1812.
Father, Marius Lucien Viborel, born Jamuary 1891, Tourrettes-sur-Loup (near Vence) Maritime Alps. His older brother, Frederic, aka Pierre Borel, books on Maupassant, Montaigne, Pascal, Descartes, Mallarme, Valery, Gide, Proust, Socrate, et al.
Mother, Andree Pierrette Baudoin, born Nice March 1893, her father Antonin Baudoin, from Antibes, later Nice. Was governess to Russian Prince in Belarus. Later back in Nice age 19 she met Marius Lucien Viborel.. Married, had son Marc, born 1914.
After Great War, MLV, offered position of Director, Ministry of Health, moved to Paris, 22, rue Gay-Lussac, near the Jardin du Luxembourg, LV aged 10, sister Christiane, aged 8.
Paris 1936--June 1940 -- 6, ave. Sully-Prudhomme, VIIeme until age 14
June 1940--May 1941 -- Lantan (Berry) just below line of Demarcation (aet 15)
May 1941 -- September 1942 : refugees at Antibes, Provence, Alpes-Maritimes (aet 16)
September 1941--August 25 1942 -- in Paris at 6 ave Sully-Prudhomme (VIIeme) aet 17-18
June 1944 -- began work at Centre of Documentation Ministry of Health, and also a student
August 19--25 1944 Liberation of Paris (aet 18) ; end September became 19 years old.
April 1946 -- accompanied parents to Tunisia, medical conference
July--August 1946 at Oxford University (Wadham College) studying Socio-Biology
September 1947 -- left for Columbia University graduated studies on SS DeGrasse (aet 22)
November 1947 -- met Lloyd A. DeLamater (aet 25) also grad student at Columbia, MA Economics ; later doctorate at Sorbonne.
