This is an old book, written as the Clinton administration assumed power and started to show its stripes. Interesting historically, but there is also some lasting truth to this book: the widely accepted truths, the much quoted numbers and much loved anecdotes of the policy wonks are just as likely to be complete bullshit as they are to be insightful . . . even when those wonks are seemingly-respectable academics. There is now a whole layer of pseudo-knowledge in Washington that has absolutely nothing to do with the truth. Pop Internationalism is the prelude to the contrafact surrounding the buildup to the war in Iraq is the prelude to the response to the housing bubble is the prelude to ___________. Truthiness is a powerful force. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
